Resort Guest

A registered overnight guest staying in a Honey Creek lodge room, cabin or resort-operated accommodation.

External Accommodation

A guest staying in nearby lodging or accommodations not operated directly by Honey Creek Resort.

Community Guest

A day visitor who is not staying overnight. Recreation passes may be required for access and rentals.

Community pricing may require proof of residence in Appanoose, Davis, Monroe, Lucas or Wayne County.

Recreation FAQs

What does the resort fee include?

The $25 resort fee is charged per room, per night and includes access to select recreation amenities. These may include beach access, beach chairs, children’s toys, beach games, kayaks, fishing poles and tackle, marina use, resort classes, tours, overnight parking and seasonal activities.

Do rentals need to be reserved in advance?

Advance reservations are recommended when online booking is available. Other rentals and activities may be reserved at the resort. All equipment is subject to availability.

What are the marina hours?

The marina is open seasonally from dawn to dusk. Marina rentals may include kayaks, fishing equipment, bait and life jackets.

Are life jackets included?

Yes. Life jackets are provided with applicable marina and water-equipment rentals.

Who can rent a pontoon?

Pontoon rentals are available to registered overnight resort guests. Open and private pontoon tours may have separate eligibility and pricing.

Is fuel available at the marina?

Pontoons are provided with a full tank of gas, and additional tanks may be purchased for the listed fee. Fuel is not available at the marina for privately owned boats.

Are recreation passes available?

Recreation passes are available for external accommodation guests and community members. Some rentals require a recreation pass before equipment can be reserved.

When is the waterpark available?

Waterpark access is included in the resort fee beginning Labor Day weekend. Day passes are $30 per person and are available based on capacity and operating availability.

Where can I find trail maps?

Trail maps are available at the resort front desk and online. Guests may explore independently or join select guided hiking experiences.

What are the resort quiet hours?

Quiet hours are observed daily from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Campfires are allowed only in designated firepits.
