Fishing at Rathbun Lake

Rathbun Lake is Iowa’s second-largest lake, with 11,000 acres (44.52 km2) of beautiful water and 150 miles of shoreline. This is Iowa fishing at its finest! Fish for crappie, catfish, largemouth bass, and walleye.

AVAILABILITY

• Fish year-round or weather permitting.

 

COST

• Fishing is included with any Honey Creek Resort reservation. 

• Non-resort guests can purchase a day pass for $20 per person.

• Visit the arena for fishing details.

• Guests are encouraged to bring their own fishing gear.

• Fishing poles, tackle, and bait are available at the Arena on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
