The building continues to take shape. Pella windows have been installed in the lodge and work crews are covering the door holes in preparation of heating the building. The workers on this project have suffered through an extremely cold and snowy winter, and the prospect of heating the lodge in the near future is exciting to the entire team.
The rest of the building is also taking shape, the restaurant and convention center is almost completely framed and roofed, and now the great room is also getting a roof. The great room reaches almost 45 feet in the air and is being built around a 50-foot iconic fireplace, which has already been completed.

When I was driving to the lodge today, I was greeted by more than 30 wild turkeys sitting on the 9th green of the golf course. I grabbed my camera, but most of them had run off by the time I got a shot.
